To Charge:

When you place your charger in direct sunlight (or plug it into your computer with the USB cable), the LED light will turn red, indicating it is charging. When the light turns off, your Solio is charged. Please note that if it is an overcast day or if you are placing the charger in indirect light, the LED may not light up, but that does not mean that it isn’t charging – it simply is not getting a strong charge.

To Check Your Charge:

simply push the LED button on the front of the charger’s case (you will find it immediately to the right of the Solio logo). Pushing the light will cause it to flash up to five times. If it flashes five times, it is at 100%, at four flashes it is at 80%, and so forth.
